Compared to the only other 15,000 Lumen light currently available (the BigBlue VL 15000P) the Seastar LED 15000 is 30 percent lighter (BigBlue 2.3 kg vs Seastar LED 15000 1.6 kg).

Even though they are both rated at 15,000 Lumens, when compared side-by-side with full batteries the Seatar LED 15000 is noticeably brighter (about +1/3 f stop).

A powerful, wide beam video light also allows still photography with Video DSLR's...it's no longer necessary to carry video lights AND strobes when using a Video DSLR like the Canon 5D3 or Panasonic GH4.

All HDVSEATEK lights have a standard ULCS / TLC 25mm arm clamp attachment ball.
